Getting Started

Here at Black Cats School of Motoring we understand that learning to drive can be daunting. But it needn't be, getting motoring is straightforward and we can help make it so.

All you need to start learning is a valid provisional UK driving licence. This is available through the DVLA.You can apply for your provisional driving licence 2 months before your 17th Birthday. To apply for your licence you need:

A valid UK Passport or a passport size photograph signed by an approved person and an acceptable form of identification.
A D1 (formerly D750) application form (available from the post office or DVLA)

Once you have completed the application and paid you fee, send it to the DVLA.

Then contact Black Cats School of Motoring to arrange your first lesson in our Brand new Mini We are totally flexible and you can book your lessons at times to suit you.
